Dr Jo has worked as a GP for over 25 years, having qualified from Liverpool University.

More recently, since 2012 Jo has been an aesthetic doctor. She found her passion in skincare and medical aesthetics and really enjoys helping patients feel more confident in their own skin. Whether you are concerned about active acne or unwanted signs of ageing, Dr Jo will be able to recommend the best course of treatment.

Jo completed her aesthetics training with Professor Bob Khanna more than 12 years ago and went on to open an aesthetics clinic, Cosmetic Skin Care, in 2012. She also opened a skin clinic, The Skyn Gym, in 2019 and now runs both clinics with Nurse Lucy, an independent nurse prescriber who has worked alongside Jo for more than five years.

Dr Jo has won multiple awards at the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA) Awards. In November 2023, Dr Jo won the Best Patient Journey award and was highly commended for Best Mid-Face Rejuvenation. Similarly in 2022, Dr Jo won the Best Full Face Sculpting award and was awarded 'Highly Commended' in the Best Lip Sculpting Award Category. She won Best Lip Sculpting Award in 2017.

With her clinics based in Windsor, Jo is excited to bring her services to The Health Barn, having moved to the area a few years ago. Jo and Lucy offer a range of services, from chemical peels, to facials, to microneedling and anti-wrinkle injections. They treat all skin types and the treatments are suitable for both men and women.
